Let’s get the obvious question out of the way:

Yes. The fragrances at Fume & Flora are real.

Every scent we sell begins life as an original bottle produced by the brand itself. We do not sell counterfeit fragrances, “inspired by” versions, or work with any sources except those authorized by the brand itself. 

If it’s on this site, it came from a legitimate bottle made by and sourced from the actual perfume house or its authorized distributor.

Where Our Fragrances Come From

Our fragrances are sourced through a combination of:

• Authorized brand distributors
• Direct relationships with fragrance houses

In many cases we are blessed to work directly with the artisans and creative visionaries who have borne these fragrances!

The only difference is that in our sampling and curating process, we break those bottles down into smaller formats so you can explore the many facets and feelings of fragrance without committing to a larger bottle.

How Our Decants Are Made

When we offer a fragrance as a sample or decant, it is transferred directly from the original manufacturer source into smaller glass atomizers.

We decant everything by hand, using tools designed specifically for fragrance transfer, with no dilution, reformulation or other funny business.  We believe that fragrance is art, and we take treat the artwork of our perfume houses and brands with the reverence that it deserves.

How We Handle Our Fragrances

Perfume is sensitive to light, heat, and air, so we treat it accordingly.

All bottles are stored in cool, stable conditions away from direct sunlight and handled only when preparing samples or decants. This helps preserve the fragrance exactly as it was intended to smell.

Fume & Flora is an independent retailer. We are not owned by the brands we carry, and unless noted otherwise, they are not affiliated with us.

Brand names and trademarks are used with permission of the brands to identify the fragrances we’re offering.
